To measure your head:

Place a dressmaking tape 12mm above the ears
Keep the tape level and firm; across the temple and above the eyebrow ridges, and take the measurement in centimetres
Check the size chart below

Note: size up if you are in-between head measurements

How to shape your Sunbody hat

Get your hat thoroughly wet inside and out.
Crease the crown starting with the seam at the back. Shape the side curves to your liking. It helps to look at the inside of the hat while you are doing it.
Shape the brim by rolling the edges towards the crown. Exaggerate the roll as the brim will tend to uncurl a bit when you let go.
When wet your hat will be hard and rigid and feel smaller. When dry it will be flexible and will remember its new shape if crushed. It will not shrink or stretch but will conform to the shape of your head. Extreme dryness will make your hat brittle.
