How to Calculate Belt Sizing
Belt measurements are taken from the point the tongue meets the buckle end to the middle hole. See Diagram below. Belts do vary in hole number and length from last hole to the belt tip, so it is important to follow the below diagram.
To choose a belt size from your pants size:
If your pants are worn at a height close to the natural waistline an easy way to determine your belt size is to add 2” or 5 cm to your pants size. For low rise trousers or jeans consider adding 3-4” or 7.5-10 cm to your pants size.
For ladies, the most accurate result is to measure around where you wear the belt through the belt loops of your pants and add 2” or 5 cm to the length.
